This was then a reception in the magnificent.
"Jack and I met inside a famous Tiki bar in London called Mahiki in 2013. I had been dragged out by some friends and Jack had dragged his friends out with him. During the night, I did a fast room scan, and our eyes caught one another's – we'd our first date the next Friday, and also the rest is history. I often think back to that night; had I been more stubborn and chose to have an early night I'd not have met Jack, which just seems crazy!"
The mermaid silhouette and sweetheart neckline looked incredible on Robyn, and also the tulle train and Chantilly lace put into the soft and romantic effect.
"I wasn't an enormous fan of the cape concept, and along with my name being Robyn, I just couldn't wear a cape on my small wedding day! My mum created an idea there after which to customize the gown by using sleeves in the cape, loosely attaching these phones to the bodice to produce an off-the-shoulder style, and taking advantage of the rest of the cape-like a cathedral-length veil. Genius!"
Jennifer Lo styled the bridesmaid's hair, plus they wore soft lavender bridesmaid dresses, with fresh flowers within their hair, and drop earrings, gifted to them by Robyn.
Jack wore traditional morning attire, having a charcoal grey jacket and trousers, paired having a white shirt and ivory waistcoat and tie, whilst the groomsmen wore matching suits with contrasting light grey waistcoats.
The couple booked a Bentley Mulsanne to transport Robyn and her father towards the church, as well as a white London cab for the bridesmaids. Click
"Jack wanted a church ceremony, and thus once we'd the reception venue, we required to find our ceremony location. As it so happens, the nearest church to Farnham Castle is St. Andrew's Church within the center of Farnham, which was also where Jack's parents have married over 3 decades ago!"
Today we're pleased to become sharing the job of Kent-based photographer for that first time on our pages – and what beautiful images they are, and Robyn and Jack were delighted using the results.
"We looked in a lot of photographers, but didn't fully realize where to start or what I was looking for, so when I was recommended Ross, we knew we wanted him to capture our day. I am excited when Ross said he was free on our date, and I booked him up immediately. Our photos are superior to what we could ever have wished for, Ross was amazing!"
Back within the castle's Great Hall, the area was transformed for any party, with giant lit letters, too sparkly dancefloor, stage, and up lighters.
For their first dance as newlyweds, Robyn and Jack decided on a song with special significance for them both – Bonfire Heart, by James Blunt.
"On our first anniversary, I put just a little montage of pictures from your first year together for Jack and overlaid this song, therefore we both knew immediately it had to become that song! Jack's friend, is a singer, so he recomposed the initial song for all of us to allow it to be slower, and he sang this for all of us with his electric guitar. This made as soon even more special."
Words of Wedded Wisdom
"We have two bits of advice that people feel work together. The first is to not rush it, and provide yourself with sufficient time. The second suggestion is to try to see your big day planning like a journey, instead of just a day. It's tough to justify spending much money on only a day, however, you can should you spread it over a longer period. Take enjoyment out of the whole wedding ceremony planning experience by creating special moments and memories together."
